Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Scientist with a strong background in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data visualization to work on complex problems and provide business insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply data-driven tools to model complex systems and provide business insights.

  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and geoscientists to develop and apply machine learning and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Design, build, and deploy machine learning models at enterprise scale.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning and apply them to real-world problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing, applying, and validating data-driven tools to model complex systems.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning and statistical analysis techniques, including classification, regression, time-series, and Bayesian techniques.
  • Experience with Python and R programming languages and related packages, such as numpy, pandas, sklearn, Keras, and Tensorflow.
  • Experience with software engineering practices, agile methodologies, DevOps, and version control.
  • Experience working in Azure Databricks or other data science frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing, applying, and analyzing physics-based or data-driven computational models and simulations.
  • Prior knowledge of commercial software development and/or experience in commercial software teams.
  • Experience of identifying and scoping data science opportunities based on business needs.
