Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Cost Management

As a Costing and Plant Finance Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting timely financial reports to ensure accuracy. You will maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies while managing SKU-wise reports, cost-saving validations, and export turnover, profitability, and variance analysis.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports
  • Monitor compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Manage plant expenditures and optimize costs through effective resource allocation
  • Analyze cost structures to identify areas for reduction and implement cost control measures
  • Track performance against cost targets and make data-driven decisions

Responsibilities include maintaining the export pricing master, gross margin variance analysis, procurement price analysis, batch costing, yield reports of the factory and TPU, capacity utilization reports, and coordinating the completion of various reconciliations required for the Cost audit.

  • Prepare variance analysis by price and volume
  • Develop cost sheets using process costing methodologies
  • Improve tracking of costs and allocation of overheads by applying Activity-Based costing
  • Conduct inventory valuation as per procedure laid out, Periodical Factory, Warehouse inventory audit
  • Identify and analyze slow-moving inventory

To be successful in this role, you should possess experience in Costing, Plant Accounting, Data Handling, Process Handling, Team Handling, and Fluency in Microsoft Office suite. ICWA Qualified or Semi Qualified/CMA Semi Qualified candidates are preferred.
