Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Matter Expert - Mathematics Coordinator to join our team at Coschool.

This is a pivotal role in managing and coordinating content development projects for mathematics within the curriculum.

The successful candidate will lead and collaborate with a network of teachers and contributors, adapting content to diverse curricula, and generating high-quality educational materials in accordance with SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a network of teachers and contributors to work on different projects as gig workers (freelancers, part-timers).
  • Understand various curricula and set up content requirements from time to time.
  • Work with teachers and contributors to generate/create content as per SLA and add to the database.
  • Responsible for creating and updating the mathematics subject database of chapters, learning outcomes, and subtopics.
  • Responsible for creating chapter-based goal sheets for the Question Bank 6 and generating Question Bank data as per the curriculum requirement.
  • Responsible for creating a cycle to validate existing QB data.
  • Validate different types of educational content created for teachers as per the subject.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and guide them in educational projects.
  • Manage projects and adhere to timelines.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of teaching experience in secondary and senior secondary classes, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role.
  • Experience in project management will add value.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with teachers and contributors.
  • Proficient in curriculum development, lesson planning, AI, and educational technology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of different curricula across Grade 1 to 12.
  • Knowledge of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with the latest educational research and trends.

Educational Qualification:

  • The candidate should possess a master's degree with teaching qualifications in CBSE/IGCSE/ICSE/IB.
  • Teaching Training certificate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • A sharp candidate with a deep understanding of education and who takes accountability also has interest in research in sharing the best learning journey.
