Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Analyst to join our team at Guidehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for performing customer due diligence reviews and mitigating risks associated with customers' risk profiles.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will apply research and analytic techniques to digest complex information sets, making logical and adequately supported determinations regarding risk profiles of customers.
  • You will perform complete KYC CDD, EDD & Risk assessment of clients' customers' profiles, which includes reviewing customer information obtained from multiple sources like internal databases, documentations, third-party vendors, and internet research.
  • You will verify customers' identities and assess risks associated with them, screening customers against prohibited lists, reviewing transactions, and identifying suspicious or high-risk activities.
  • You will ensure accuracy of information gathered and provide comprehensive narrations on customers' risk profiles.
  • You will utilize this information in detecting, monitoring, and reporting suspicious activity.
  • You will perform background checks using various screening tools and take decisions whether to report the risk.
  • You will own and oversee end-to-end customer reviews, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and validity of files worked.
  • You will communicate seamlessly with Client Business lines, Leadership teams, and other internal stakeholders.
  • You will adhere to Targets of Quality and Productivity.
  • You will adapt to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
  • You will work in a team and meet the team and Project goals.

Requirements:

  • You should have experience working for financial institutions, like banks (preferably global), NBFCs, other Financial Institutions.
  • You should have experience working at MNCs in global processes in the Financial Services or Regulatory compliance.
  • You should have experience working on KYC and customer Identification and verification.
  • You should have experience working on customer risk assessment.
  • Preferred Skills:
    • Experience working in a Global AML-CDD/EDD/KYC/Transaction Monitoring or other Banking/Financial Services or Financial Services Regulatory compliance processes.
    • Working Knowledge of Global AML-KYC policies.
    • Working Knowledge of PEP screening, Sanctions screening Negative Media screening processes.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a flexible benefits package that reflects our commitment to creating a diverse and supportive workplace.
