We are seeking a highly skilled Spotfire Server Administrator to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in administration, configuration, and optimization of Spotfire Server architectures. They will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Spotfire environment, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.

As a key member of our IT team, you will work closely with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain efficient Spotfire server configurations. Your expertise will enable us to provide high-quality analytics solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize Spotfire Server Architectures: Understand current server architectures and implement load balancing strategies for optimal performance.
  • Rearchitect Existing Servers: Redesign existing servers for better handling of web players and loads.
  • High-Node Server Handling: Manage high-node servers (over 30) and redesign for optimization.
  • Local Disc Caching and Routing: Implement local disc caching and improve routing using smart resource pools.
  • EC2 Farm Horizontal Scaling: Configure Spotfire using smaller machines (EC2 farm horizontal scaling) and implement improved Spotfire routing.
  • Shared Disc Caching: Implement shared disc caching across node manager groups.
  • User Experience Improvement: Focus on user experience improvement and proactive approach for server performance enhancement.
  • Bad Actor Isolation: Isolate bad actors and reduce the impact of restarts.
  • Dashboards Downtime Reduction: Reduce dashboards downtime and improve volatility metric.
  • Scheduled Update Jobs: Create and monitor all Spotfire scheduled update jobs for multiple environments.
  • Spotfire Installation and Configuration: Install and configure multiple versions of Spotfire Servers (Web player server, Professional Server, and Automation Services Server).
  • Web.Config and Bootstrap.xml Files: Manage Web.config and Bootstrap.xml files for creation and troubleshooting.
  • TIBCO Spotfire Server HotFix and Client HotFix Deployments: Handle TIBCO Spotfire Server HotFix, Spotfire Client HotFix, and Automation Server package deployments.
  • User Access Management: Manage access for different roles to users and groups.
  • Action Logs Management: Handle action logs using file and database levels.
  • Spotfire Environment Standardization: Standardize Spotfire environment with best practices.
  • Environment Health Checks: Establish and maintain Spotfire environment health checks.
  • Ldap Configuration Settings: Implement LDAP configuration settings.
  • IIS and Spotfire Service Restart: Have knowledge on IIS and Spotfire service restart.
  • Metadata Understanding: Understand metadata of Spotfire using GUID.
  • Folder Management and Security: Handle folder management and implement security measures.
  • Service Now or Ticketing Tool Knowledge: Have knowledge on service now or any ticketing tool (Requests, Incidents, Change management-ITIL process).

Requirements:

  • 4-13 years of experience in Spotfire Server administration and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Spotfire Server architecture and its components.
  • Experience with load balancing, high-node server handling, and local disc caching.
  • Familiarity with EC2 farm horizontal scaling and shared disc caching.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.

Salary: ₹50,00,000 - ₹75,00,000 per annum (based on location and experience)
