Job Description

This hybrid work option allows you to balance working from home and commuting to a LinkedIn office, depending on what's best for you and your team. You'll own the front-end development of our products, collaborate with User Experience Designers and Product Managers, and build world-class user experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement cutting-edge technologies and write state-of-the-art code to keep LinkedIn at the forefront of current technology.
  • Provide technical leadership in driving and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field involving coding.
  • 2+ years of hands-on web development experience with object-oriented JavaScript, jQuery, semantic HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience developing backend services in Java.
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, having these skills will make you an even stronger candidate:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience writing clean JavaScript, including modern frameworks (Angular/Ember/React) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc).
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
Salary and Benefits
