Senior Accounting Professional

As a senior accounting professional, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong educational backgrounds and some corporate experience in accounts payable, financial statement preparation, and real estate field processes.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Reconciliations
  • Providing exceptional service to clients by adhering to our service standards
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of all client's financial matters
  • Staying up-to-date on applicable taxation and other relevant legislation and guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Developing a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; maintaining historical records by filing documents
  • Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence, and advising management on needed actions

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience within the corporate/business sector
  • Hands-on experience in AP and AR using QuickBooks in real estate accounting
  • Education background with either a Bachelor's or Master's in Commerce
  • Good English communication skills
  • Knowledge of GAAP, US accounting, and taxation process
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) candidate or enrolled
