Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced High Performance Oracle Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance Oracle database systems.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and security of our Oracle databases, leveraging your expertise in Exadata systems, RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, and Multitenant architecture.

You will work closely with our cloud architects and application teams to support hybrid and cloud-native deployments, and collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with our ERP systems.

This is a hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of Oracle technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance Oracle database systems
  • Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of Oracle databases
  • Leverage expertise in Exadata systems, RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, and Multitenant architecture
  • Collaborate with cloud architects and application teams on hybrid and cloud-native deployments
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with ERP systems
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of production database experience
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments
  • Proven experience with Oracle Exadata systems
  • Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Grid Infrastructure
  • Experience with Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB)
  • Working knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate and Data Guard
  • Experience with ERP systems on Oracle databases (JDE/E1 preferred)
  • Strong background in disaster recovery planning and execution
  • Public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required; OCI certifications preferred
  • Experience with AWS cloud databases is a plus; AWS certifications desired
  • Proven experience in cloud migration of Oracle databases to OCI
