MERN Stack Developer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MERN stack developer to lead our team in building scalable and high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across the MERN stack, including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Express.js.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Full-Stack Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance web applications using the MERN stack.
    • Backend Development: Develop and maintain robust Node.js backend services and RESTful APIs using Express.js.
    • Frontend Development: Build interactive and responsive user interfaces using React.js, ensuring a seamless user experience.
    • Database Management: Design, implement, and manage MongoDB databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
    • Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
    • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks across the full stack.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
  • Strong expertise across the MERN stack, including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
  • Advanced schema design, querying, and optimization skills for MongoDB.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
