Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Growth Professional to lead our business development efforts in acquiring high-value software development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new project acquisitions by identifying and targeting prospective clients in need of software development, SaaS solutions, or IT consulting services.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and opportunities for software project acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads using CRM tools, networking, and partnerships.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management
  • Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers in client organizations.
  • Understand client requirements, pain points, and business objectives to propose tailored software solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and technical teams to ensure seamless communication.
Strategic Sales Initiatives
  • Create and implement strategies to generate software project leads in target verticals such as healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, etc.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for launching new service offerings and penetrating untapped markets.
Proposal Development and Presentation
  • Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling proposals, bids, and presentations.
  • Lead the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and SOWs (Statements of Work).
  • Presentation proposals to clients, negotiate terms, and close deals.
Collaboration with Internal Teams
  • Work closely with product managers, delivery teams, and engineering leads to align client expectations with execution capabilities.
  • Provide input on solution design and delivery timelines.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, project acquisition rates, and revenue growth.
  • Use analytics to refine sales strategies and achieve better outcomes.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the software or IT services industry.
  • Proven track record of acquiring software development projects or managing large client accounts.
