About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Conference Event Specialist. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development, working with advanced technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • As a primary point of contact, you will interact with customers and Ops Teams, responding to enquires in a timely, professional, and competent manner.
  • You will work closely with customers to ensure their booking requests are delivered according to SLAs and meet the team's experience standards.
  • The Conference Event Specialist will be responsible for connecting and monitoring video conferences on various platforms, creating virtual platform links/invites, modifying meeting capabilities based on requirements, and providing client discovery meetings.
  • You will also provide Meet & Greet services, troubleshoot technical issues during meetings or events, and record conference details accurately in shared databases.
  • Liaising with Helpdesk teams on tickets and troubleshooting when required is also a key responsibility.
General Responsibilities
  • You will answer phones, respond to emails, chat, and alarms in support of ongoing events, deal with all inbound service requests and enquires in real-time, professionally, and competently.
  • Accurate event booking, performing escalated troubleshooting, and training to customers and internal teams as needed are essential duties.
  • Data entry into departmental databases and consulting with the immediate Supervisor on any failures resulting from events are also crucial tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
  • The ideal candidate must think and work independently, effectively interacting with employees, customers, and colleagues, while demonstrating the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects.
  • A strong attention to detail, written and oral communication skills, problem-solving, customer service, and troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • A good working knowledge of remote VC services and platforms is required.
