About the Role:

Siemens Energy is recruiting a highly experienced Project Manager to lead global projects in Modernizations and Upgrades. As a seasoned professional, you will have a proven track record of managing projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and with zero harm to the environment, health, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global projects throughout the project life cycle, agreeing targets and work packages with project staff and delegates defined work packages, providing technical solutions, integrating all systems, executing site activities, handling acceptance tests, and final project handovers.
  • Evaluate compliance to standards, rules, and regulations, establishing vital measures to ensure zero harm policies in environment, health, and safety, setting up frameworks to regularly check compliance with subcontractors.
  • Responsible for the project team, guiding, supporting, empowering, and developing team members to achieve project/organization goals.
  • Develops and guides project solution plans for projects or programs, implements technical projects or programs.
  • Guarantees correct assignment and monitoring of costs, prepares commercial information for regular project reporting/project status discussions/breakthrough reviews (deadlines, costs, quality, cash collection).
  • Suggests preparing budgets and forecasts for projects (Order Entry, Revenue, Gross Margin).
  • Identifies and financially assesses opportunities and risks, defining suitable measures for reducing risks or realizing opportunities and taking precautions for remaining risks.
  • Ensure high-quality performance controlling, forecasting, and planning, commercial PM, risk management, accounting, compliance.
  • Analyzes information and provides reports and feedback to project team members and management.
  • Strong ability to communicate/work with international teams across different countries and cultures.
  • Ability to identify risks and issues early that affect margin and schedule. Resolves issues and raises as required.

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a reputed Institute with experience as Project Manager/Leader in category Small, C, B, or equivalent position demonstrating management of a project or team.
  • 10+ Years of proven experience in supporting the management of projects, preferably in Gas Turbines.
  • Experience of working in SAP and Excel.
  • Able to present information in a clear manner to the project team and management.
  • Strong influencing skills required to drive organizational and behavioral changes.
  • Knowledge in related fields such as Risk Management and System Engineering.
  • Experience in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment.

  • Salary: ₹ 25,00,000 - ₹ 30,00,000 per annum.
