Senior Supply Chain Manager

This role is responsible for managing the procurement of indirect and direct materials, as well as vendor and material follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement of Indirect Materials:
- Compile purchase requisitions (PR) for indirect materials and issue PR-specific RFQs.
- Resolve PR-related queries by coordinating with users and finalizing orders.
- Prepare the Quote Comparison Sheet (QCS) and process SAP purchase orders with support from GBSS.
- Floating inquiries for quotes and identifying alternative sources or new vendors.
- Compile and submit quotes for user review and approval.
- Manage PR compilation and issue PR-specific RFQs.
- Floating inquiries, resolve PR queries in consultation with users, and finalize orders.
- Prepare QCS and process SAP POs in collaboration with GBSS.
- Regularly follow up with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries and maintain OTIF/OTD metrics.
- Liaise with carriers and couriers for delivery and sourcing alternatives if required for reordering.
- Address user queries regarding order status and quotes.
- Respond to stakeholder and vendor emails, troubleshoot post-order vendor issues.
- Provide daily material updates to users and routine status updates on ordered materials.
- Coordinate with the finance team for payment processing and resolve payment/invoice-related queries.
- Coordinate with the commercial team for import details and shipment documentation issues.
