Visual Storyteller - Motion Media Specialist

About the Role:

XYLEM LEARNING is seeking an experienced Visual Storyteller to lead our motion media team. As a skilled Cinematographer and Video Editor, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content and editing it to produce engaging visuals that align with our brand's vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Videography: Operate cameras, DSLRs, and other filming equipment to capture high-quality footage.
  • Plan and coordinate video shoots, including lighting, angles, and camera movements.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to execute visual aspects of scripts and storyboards.
  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage into cohesive videos, incorporating effects, transitions, and sound as needed.
  • Use editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to create engaging videos.
  • Ensure color correction, sound mixing, and post-production aspects meet industry standards.
Project Requirements:
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with organizational goals.
  • Repurpose video content to suit various platforms (e.g., social media, website, advertising campaigns).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in camera operation and video editing (minimum 2-3 years).
  • Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong visual and technical skills in camera handling, lighting, and editing.
  • Creativity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
Salary:

$65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
