Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Analyst to join our Virtual Care Delivery team. This individual will work on developing software solutions for one of the largest technology initiatives in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Develop engineering solutions in alignment with our technology strategy and meeting application requirements as well as industry standard best practices.
  • Maximize the efficiency (operational, performance, and cost) of application assets.
  • Sizes User Stories based on time/difficulty to complete.
  • Provides input on specific challenges facing User Stories.
  • Discusses risks, dependencies, and assumptions.
  • Determines if User Stories meet the Definition of Ready.
  • Selects User Stories to be completed in the iteration, based on User Story priority and team capacity and velocity.
  • Breaks User Stories into tasks.
  • Participates in the confidence vote.
  • Participates in the daily stand-up.

Requirements:

  • Working experience with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Azure (serverless related services), Python, React, MySQL, Databricks, and No-SQL databases.
  • Strong analytical skills to challenge design recommendations.
  • Proven experience delivering software solutions.
  • Familiarity with agile methodology, including SCRUM teams.
  • Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior/test-driven development, and specification by example.
  • Proven experience with architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT.
  • College degree (Bachelor) in a related technical/business area or equivalent work experience.

PAY RANGE: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
