Job Summary:

The Growth Development Specialist role involves developing an in-depth understanding of various industry verticals, such as F&B, Hospitality, FMCG, FMCD, Healthcare & Wellness, and Lifestyle. The successful candidate will be responsible for adding new merchants to our network, growing existing ones, and driving revenue through PhonePe's ad sales proposition.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Merchant Acquisition: Identify and onboard new merchants in allocated geographies, leveraging holistic solutions for key accounts.
  • Account Management: Foster long-term relationships with merchants, providing deep understanding and expertise to ensure continued success.
  • Market Monitoring: Keep track of competition activity, share best practices internally, and implement response strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth through PhonePe's ad sales proposition, utilizing current products like Scratch card, Banners, and smart speakers.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in sales/business development.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong ethics and discretion when dealing with customers.
  • Drive for results, with ability to demonstrate/quantify success relative to established targets and metrics.
  • Strong bias for action, problem-solving, and ownership.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and be a team player.
  • Exposure to the startup environment is an added advantage.

Estimated Salary: ₹25 LPA - ₹35 LPA (Approximate annual salary range)
