Job Title: Software Development Engineer - Java Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java developer to join our team as a Software Development Engineer - Java Specialist. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with architects and designers to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-structured Java code.
  • Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality.
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable components and libraries.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language, including object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
  • Experience with popular Java frameworks and libraries, such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and JPA.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for software development and continuous learning.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Experience with performance optimization and tuning.
