Job Summary

Cencora India Technology Services Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing system support for operating environment components, verifying and approving plans for upgrading databases, and coordinating with stakeholders to deploy scheduled background logs and recovery back-ups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides system support for operating environment components such as databases, operating systems, network interfaces, storage systems, servers, and associated hardware.
  • Verifies and approves plans for upgrading databases, recommends adding new structures or elements, and enables use of data access tools and techniques to enable information access by business users.
  • Verifies and approves plans for scheduled background logs, recovery back-ups, and coordinates with all stakeholders and users to deploy the same.
  • Brings improvements in procedures and functions for accessing, maintaining, and populating databases, and creating back-ups, managing access controls, managing version upgrades.
  • Acts as a senior Systems Administrator for enterprise applications by addressing system problems and enhancing system functionality based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Provides expertise within and day-to-day end-user support for CRM applications to all levels of the organization.
  • Evaluates improvement recommendations and prioritizes changes/enhancements for improved systems availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Recommends and deploys structural changes to the operating environment in collaboration with Infrastructure, information security, and vendor teams.
  • Releases public area documentation and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.
  • Works with application, system vendor, infrastructure, and IT solutions team to assess the operating environment requirements and ensure its documentation.
  • Assists in defining the operating environment requirements, test cases, and action plans to ensure its readiness for new installation or migration.
  • Participates in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings once a week as an acting member of the CAB.
  • Creates and refines reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity and assists users and stakeholders with analytics and report design and management.
  • Develops training materials and documentation, keeps materials up-to-date, coordinates new user and ongoing training sessions, and conducts trainings.
  • Partners with stakeholders, which may include HR, Payroll, Finance, Audit, Benefits, Legal, associates, and vendors, to determine strategic needs, defines functional/technical specifications, troubleshoots issues, and implements initiatives.
  • Utilizes complex reporting tools to develop, document, and monitor cross-process data integration points in future-state business process designs, facilitates resolution of misalignment across process areas.
  • Installs, manages the configuration, and maintains BI & Analytics Tools (Power BI gateways, Alteryx, or SAP Business Objects).
  • Proactive monitoring of server performance and generating alerts for usage spikes.
  • Manages BI & Analytics Active Directory OU.
  • Licenses provisioning and charge backs.
  • Power BI premium capacity planning and scaling.
  • Expertise with Global Power BI gateways rollout.
  • Good to have Microsoft Copilot and Fabric knowledge.
  • Good understanding of data residency policies and Multi Geo rollout of Power BI capacities.
  • Manages vendor relationships, working with vendors on application-related issues.
  • Works with Business units integrating Power BI with Salesforce & homegrown .Net portals.
  • Ability to register Azure Apps & opening API permissions for Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience in setting up high-availability Power BI gateway clusters and upgrading Gateway software.
  • Ability to write PowerShell scripts to get audit data is a must.
  • Ability to review and interpret Capacity Metrics.
  • Ability to configure and map One drives/sharepoint online with Power BI workspace.
  • Good understanding of Firewall rules and Wireshark log analysis.
  • BI & Analytics tools software bundling and rollouts via SMS.
  • Expert application troubleshooting and log analysis skills.
  • Experience working with other Operational groups.
  • On-call support (24/7) rotation.
