Job Title: Security Threat and Vulnerability Remediation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Security Threat and Vulnerability Remediation Specialist to join our team at NTT DATA Services. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for reviewing vulnerability management reports, developing remediation plans, and coordinating with business owners and tower leads to ensure timely remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review Vulnerability Management reports and develop a tower-specific remediation plan.
  2. Quantify vulnerability risk and lead the remediation/acceptance phase, engaging business owners and tower leads to coordinate the remediation plan.
  3. Open request tickets to track all vulnerabilities and actions taken to remediate.
  4. Execute remediation plans monthly, requiring exception approval if remediations need to be delayed.
  5. Liaise between NTTS SOC/SIEM team and our threat management team.
  6. Work with NTTS SOC/SIEM team to ensure action items are completed.
  7. Experience in coordinating with various teams and running Critical Patch Cycles.
  8. Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track remediation progress.
  9. Perform Vulnerability Scanning scheduled and Unscheduled.
  10. Engage with the CUSTOMER CISO, Security Team & Vulnerability Management (VM) Committee to drive, communicate, coordinate & report vulnerability remediation.
  11. Understand the CUSTOMER VM Policy and document best practices for VM.
  12. Collect ongoing lists of all vulnerabilities.
  13. Prioritize critical/high severity level vulnerabilities.
  14. Document assignments and exceptions and track the same.
  15. Create and track tickets to scanning teams to exclude vulnerabilities.
  16. Work with Tower Leads on resolving assigned vulnerabilities.
  17. Perform lookups of previously assigned vulnerabilities.
  18. Look at misrouted vulnerability tickets and route them to the appropriate teams.
  19. Identify vulnerabilities with approved exceptions.
  20. Identify and assign new vulnerabilities.
  21. Lead Vulnerability scanning, Remediation, and SOC teams.
