Job Title: Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at ITP Media Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities and lead the sales team in acquiring new clients.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and effectively manage the sales cycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and media buyers.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored advertising solutions to meet their objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for the senior management team.
  • Make recommendations for sales strategies and process improvements based on market insights.
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, editorial, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience in digital media sales, advertising, and branded content.
  • Demonstrated experience in scaling up business operations.
  • Prior experience as a profit center head is desired.
  • Seasoned and successful leader with experience in a major and complex industry or organization in a competitive market segment.
  • Good business acumen to help with the growth of the organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Target-oriented.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Good people manager to ensure everyone is motivated.
Knowledge and Proficiency:
  • Proficient in creating new opportunities and sales presentations as directed by the General Manager.
  • Assisting in path planning, project management, client relations, budgeting, reporting, and general administration.
  • Skilled in sourcing and synthesizing information from diverse sources.
  • Proficient in managing partnership packages to ensure delivery of promised print, digital, and social outputs.
  • Knowledge of all integral systems, including Trello, Zoho, Google Drive, and Magnet.
  • Knowledge of the internal order approval system, key contacts, and paperwork requirements.
  • Management of the internal month-end closing process across the group.
  • Proficient in creating post-campaign reports and analysis for key accounts within the group.
