Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team at ITP Media Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead the sales team in acquiring new clients.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline and effectively manage the sales cycle.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, advertising agencies, and media buyers.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored advertising solutions to meet their objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for the senior management team.
- Make recommendations for sales strategies and process improvements based on market insights.
- Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, editorial, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of advertising campaigns.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
- At least 8 years of experience in digital media sales, advertising, and branded content.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling up business operations.
- Prior experience as a profit center head is desired.
- Seasoned and successful leader with experience in a major and complex industry or organization in a competitive market segment.
- Good business acumen to help with the growth of the organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Target-oriented.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
- Good people manager to ensure everyone is motivated.
- Proficient in creating new opportunities and sales presentations as directed by the General Manager.
- Assisting in path planning, project management, client relations, budgeting, reporting, and general administration.
- Skilled in sourcing and synthesizing information from diverse sources.
- Proficient in managing partnership packages to ensure delivery of promised print, digital, and social outputs.
- Knowledge of all integral systems, including Trello, Zoho, Google Drive, and Magnet.
- Knowledge of the internal order approval system, key contacts, and paperwork requirements.
- Management of the internal month-end closing process across the group.
- Proficient in creating post-campaign reports and analysis for key accounts within the group.
