Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in implementing business processes software solutions and systems implementation at Intuitive Surgical. This position requires a strong understanding of business processes and technical expertise to identify, analyze, refine, translate, and document business requirements from various teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business processes and provide cost-efficient proposals to determine appropriate process and system design.
  • Create functional specifications and work with cross-functional teams to deliver technical objects.
  • Review and contribute to design documents, configuration documents, and functional specifications.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing and regression testing.
  • Support production processes and all associated business systems functions.
  • Work with IT and business teams to optimize and streamline business processes and technical solutions.
  • Identify gaps between current and future state of business processes and prioritize opportunities to improve processes using the Business Capability Matrix.
  • Lead and facilitate business user meetings to gather process information for sound system solutions.
  • Collaborate with the development team to meet business needs.
  • Help business teams with reporting requirements and work with the data warehouse team.
  • Conduct QA validations and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) tests.
  • Support, assist, and train users on new modified system configurations.
  • Maintain IT business system integrity and application notes, system upgrades, changes, and user updates.
  • Work closely with onsite and offshore teams, managers, and executives to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Follow the Intuitive change management process and analyze the impact of changes to the corporate application landscape.
  • Act as a Senior BA and guide and mentor team members in providing best solutions and peer review and advice on areas of improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Anaplan projects implementations.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with Anaplan solution architect.
  • Level 3 Model Building certification is required.
  • Strong understanding of Revenue, Expense, and Headcount planning/forecasting modeling expertise.
  • Experience in designing and building Anaplan models and integrations to address business planning and forecasting requirements on financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
  • Experience with developing complex calculations, data imports, exports, and integration workflows while adhering to Anaplan best practices.
  • Experience working with business end-users, gathering requirements, and building detailed functional design specifications.
  • Ability to guide team members and mentor them as needed.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision or guidance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work independently and consider cross-functional and downstream impacts with close attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
