Job Title: Strategic Manager for Systems and Process Improvement


Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Strategic Manager for Systems and Process Improvement to join our team at Tata Motors.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance business performance and efficiency.
  • Lead the sourcing council initiatives for TPEM and ensure accurate input for senior leadership decision-making.
  • Ensure process compliance and drive execution of online MIS, leveraging analytics and providing tools for decision-makers.
  • Manage broad sets of stakeholders and represent P&SC in various forums across the organization hierarchy.
  • Identify process gaps and close them with efficient processes aligned with other stakeholders.
  • Drive initiatives such as ERM, TBEM, and IT enablement of business processes.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to prepare review documents and supplier performance scorecards.
  • Support Vendor Council and Vendor Meet initiatives.
  • Develop a keen understanding of company-level policies and their impact on functional policies.
  • Ensure P&SC process compliances and lead the P&SC Quarterly Business Review initiatives.
  • Drive License to Practice (LTP) initiatives for P&SC.

Requirements:



  • BE/BTech Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics, MBA Supply chain / operations (preferred).
  • 5-10 years of experience in process-oriented roles.
  • Commercial acumen with a keenness to understand various systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Able to manage broad sets of stakeholders and represent P&SC in various forums.
  • Apt communicator and able to decide when to lead and when to be an efficient team player.
  • Ownership mindset.
  • Keenness to learn new-age P&SC tools and implement them.
  • Process-oriented with a focus on meeting customer needs.
