We are seeking a talented software engineer to join our team at Park Place Technologies.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our products and services. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from designing and developing new software applications to testing and debugging existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using C# .NET, MVC/Razor Pages, and Web APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Work closely with QA to ensure that software applications meet quality and functionality standards.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team while adhering to established processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of hands-on development experience using C# .NET, MVC/Razor Pages, and Web APIs.
  • Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and RDBMS.
  • Expertise in web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and proficiency in front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with relational databases like SQL Server/Azure SQL/MySQL etc.
  • Good understanding of programming fundamentals and best practices such as SOLID, Object-Oriented design principles, Clean Architecture/Domain Driven Design.
  • Knowledge of ADO.NET/Entity Framework/any other ORM.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Mongo DB/Azure Cosmos DB etc.
  • Understanding of Agile process and experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Understanding of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to break complex problems into smaller tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude and a growth mindset towards learning new skills.

Bonus Points:

  • Relevant certifications such as Azure Fundamentals/Developer/Architect/Administrator etc.
  • Prior experience with Event driven architectures, distributed systems, and Microservices is a plus.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform, Low Code/No Code solutions.
  • Contributions to projects on GitHub, developer communities like Stack Overflow, Microsoft Q&A, published blog posts etc.
  • Experience working in a global environment involving multiple development teams across various time zones.
  • Prior development experience with Java technologies.

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
