Key Skills and Requirements
Mandatory skillset includes Java, SQL, and experience with Property and Casualty Insurance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Proficiency in Java and SQL for data manipulation and reconciliation. Experience with web services and strong hands-on experience in the claims side of the insurance industry.
Proven track record in performing reconciliation activities. Expertise in file handling and data patching techniques. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience with SSIS, SQL Server, SQL, relational database, etc. (3-5 years required). Knowledge of the Property and Casualty Insurance industry is a plus. Ability to recognize past issue patterns and apply them to the existing problem-resolution process. Initiative-taking, collaborator with the ability to work and mentor junior resources in different regions. Ability to work with other groups and lead the ETL solution. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills. Experience with Azure (0-2 years good to have) and Snowflake (0-2 years good to have). Comfortable working with complex ETL solutions and large data sets. Organized with strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiar with Jira, Confluence, and Agile Processes.
