We are seeking a seasoned Director of Training and Growth to lead our Learning and Development team at Accor. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our Heartists, ultimately driving exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement departmental orientation processes and new hire training programs.
  • Design and deliver training initiatives that leverage on-the-job training, classroom training, mentoring, and blended learning approaches.
  • Liaise with Accor Academy and external training providers to maximize L&D opportunities and Heartist development.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D plan that addresses capability and knowledge gaps, equips Heartists with the necessary skill sets, and enhances operational objectives.
  • Foster a learning culture through the development of Departmental Trainers and education of Leaders on available resources and options.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment management procedures and controls.
  • Liaise with Department Heads on training requirements, attendance, and development of training actions.
  • Publish regular training calendars and promote maximum attendance through clear communication and liaison.
  • Provide advice on training opportunities, career choices, qualifications, and other T&C issues.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of pre and post-course briefings, identify future training needs, and ensure consistency and quality of training.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop a Hotel Training Plan and budget that aligns with the hotel's goals and strategic plan.
  • Initiate relationships and partnerships with industry associations, external training companies, and academic counsels.
  • Champion Employee Engagement activities, Committee initiatives, and drive engagement and culture throughout the hotel.
  • Study guest feedback and focus on Quality audits to support operational leaders in identifying areas of improvement.

Qualifications:



  • At least 15 years of experience in Luxury resorts, with a strong background in Learning and Development.
  • Pre-opening exposure, remote location work, and high-volume hotel experience are desirable.
  • Experience in Rajasthan, Udaipur market is an added advantage.
  • Indian nationals only.
