Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a long-term technology vision and roadmap for the responsible areas, ensuring technical architecture supports business goals and drive architectural consistency across product areas.
  • Work closely with engineering teams, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of architectural solutions, by providing architectural guidance and support.
  • Lead the design of scalable and secure solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring integration with existing systems and alignment with technology standards.
  • Establish technology standards (e.g., suite qualities and fundamentals) and ensure adherence to product standards, technology guidelines, architectural best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies, tools, and practices across product and engineering teams in alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to SAP's technology strategy through Cross-Product Architecture (CPA), regularly communicate results and decisions to the architect community and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the CTO office in key strategic discussions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including partners and customers.
  • Provide mentorship to architects and engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with proven experience in leading architectural decisions and large-scale solution designs.

  • Deep expertise in enterprise SaaS solutions, data architecture, and Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Strong proficiency in microservices architecture, API and event-driven systems, containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Good understanding of AI technologies, including the integration of AI/ML into enterprise systems, driving intelligent automation, and enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Focused, responsible individual who enjoys working on a team and thrives under pressure.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
