Job Title: Data Architect

Total years of experience: 10+ years.

About the Role
  • We are seeking a seasoned data architect to participate in designing and developing features in our existing data warehouse.
  • The successful candidate will provide leadership in establishing connections between engineering, product, and analytics/data scientists teams.
  • The ideal candidate will design, implement, and update existing/new batch ETL pipelines.
  • They will define and implement data architecture.
  • Partner with both engineers and data analysts to build reliable datasets that can be trusted, understood, and used by the rest of the company.
  • Work with various data orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, etc.).
  • Embrace a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced international working environment.
  • Background or experience in the telecom industry is a plus but not a requirement.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of data architecture and models, leading data-driven projects.
  • Solid expertise in data modeling paradigms such as Kimball, Inmon, data marts, data vault, medallion, etc.
  • Strong experience with cloud-based data strategies and big data technologies – AWS preferred.
  • Expertise writing ETL pipelines combining Python + SQL.
  • Understanding of data manipulation libraries in Python like Pandas, Polars, DuckDB.
  • Experience in designing data visualization with different tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
Technical Skills
  • PostgreSQL development, query optimization, and designing indexes.
  • Advanced SQL concepts (RANK, DENSE_RANK) and applying advanced statistical concepts through SQL.
  • Postgres PL/SQL to work with complex warehouse workflows.
  • Hands-on experience in SQL.
