AlohaABA has a rewarding opportunity for an Associate Engineering Manager.

The ideal candidate will lead a diverse team, providing hands-on and technical guidance to deliver innovative cloud-based practice management software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance, document, and maintain application features in C#, MVC, .NET Core, ReactJS, and React Native.
  • Pitch ideas and test new approaches.
  • Manage the full life cycle of supported applications and ensure timely delivery of improvements and bug fixes.
  • Support application outages and resolve escalated incidents using sound incident management practices.
  • Analyze business requirements, processes, data, and system integration points to determine/recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with other development teams for integration and deployment.
  • Write and deliver complex code and modules to meet requirements, functional, and technical specifications.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and implement high-quality software.
  • Understand network concepts and terminology.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of architecting and developing integration projects using web services.
  • Ability to oversee code development and potentially participate in problem-solving.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Implement build processes and continuous build integration with Unit Testing frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 9 to 10 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying web-based applications.
  • Experience in development of web-based applications using the Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET Core).
  • Experience with React Native & offline databases.
  • Leadership experience with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in tuning and maintaining MS-SQL Server, stored procedures, and T-SQL.
  • Knowledge of Web Services integration (REST, WSDL/SOAP, XML, JSON).
  • Solid understanding of Test tools usage of CI-CD pipelines, Kubernetes.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with coding/design patterns defining & implementing software development standards and best practices.
