Role Overview:

As a key member of the Corporate Security Office (CSO) team at AHEAD, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in compliance review engagements focused on vendors, clients, regulators, rating agencies, and internal/external auditors. This will involve conducting comprehensive assessments of third-party vendors to identify and evaluate potential risks, reviewing vendor contracts, service level agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with risk management policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to gather information and assess the overall risk exposure related to third-party relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the Corporate Security Office (CSO) in compliance review engagements focused on or conducted by external entities, including vendors, clients, regulators, rating agencies, and internal/external auditors.
  • With regard to vendor-focused compliance reviews, assists in vendor due diligence process around the assessment of vendors in regard to technology and security controls, as well as the vendor's capabilities and controls around business continuity and disaster recovery.
  • With regard to client-focused reviews, assists in gathering information required by clients in support of client due diligence efforts by providing necessary information and documentation prior to, during, and following each client review engagement.
  • Conducts comprehensive assessments of third-party vendors to identify and evaluate potential risks.
  • Reviews vendor contracts, service level agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with various stakeholders to gather information and assess the overall risk exposure related to third-party relationships.
  • Facilitates discussions with third-party vendors to identify potential risk mitigation strategies and controls to address identified risks.
  • Provides vendor risk assessment results to IT/Business owners to determine future vendor relationships.
  • Creates procedural documentation as required.
  • Provides general security program support as directed.

Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT compliance, IT audit, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, PCI-DSS).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to work independently.
