Job Overview

FedEx, a global leader in express transportation, is seeking an experienced Sales Solutions Strategist - Team Lead to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless customer experiences and maximizing sales productivity.

About the Role

The Sales Solutions Strategist - Team Lead will oversee a team responsible for simplifying the back-office experience by eliminating barriers to sales productivity. Key responsibilities include managing end-to-end processes related to new account setup (NAS) and the Customer Hierarchy Tool (CHT) for Sales. The team will leverage online research tools and internal FedEx systems to maintain accurate customer definitions and establish new accounts for Sales. Additionally, they will manage work intake using iSell Case and design/improve standard operating procedures to maximize team efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage communications: Ensure timely information flow and encourage individual contributions.
  • Communication skills: Collaborate with professionals and leadership within the business and in Sales, interacting with customers as needed.
  • Talent planning: Evaluate team skills and knowledge gaps, formulate plans to build required skills and knowledge.
  • Attention to detail: Focus on maintaining detailed SOPs and adhering to timely audits.
  • Process-oriented: Leverage QDM and operationalize processes to document SOPs.
  • Systems Thinking: Analyze system interrelations and work context.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7-12 years of experience as a Team Lead / Data Analyst or similar role.
  • Must have worked in Sales Support functions.
  • Understanding business context.
  • Data Analysis.
  • Insights generation.
  • Excellent Business communication and articulation.
  • Quick learner.
  • Sense of ownership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Education:
  • MBA / Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business, finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or related field.
Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
