Optum is a global organization that delivers care by using technology to help millions of people live healthier lives. A Lead Technical Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and management of technical products within OptumHealth and Financial Technology Division of Optum. This role will play a critical part in aligning the product vision with the overall business strategy.

### Primary Responsibilities:

* Drive product vision and strategy roadmap
* Engage appropriate enterprise-wide stakeholders to enable awareness and alignment
* Responsible for management of the full product lifecycle with a technical focus, including the strategy, design, development, management and end-of-life of new, existing or acquired products
* Leverage market insights and emerging technology developments and trends to understand market/customer needs, as well as identify new opportunities or make adjustments to current product offerings
* Balance deep subject matter expertise with knowledge of business use cases and solid technical aptitude
* Accountable for delivering product performance in alignment with expectations, and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position and produce optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs
* Accountable for the P&L, and is responsible for cross-functional stakeholder management, to include (but not limited to) design, engineering, scrum teams, business leaders, etc., functioning as technical expert with a fluency in development concepts and modern development practices
* Serve as the product champion and apply deep expertise to credibly represent, manage and engage with business(es)
* Lead and manage a team of technical product managers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities. Mentor and develop junior product managers, fostering a culture of growth and learning within the team
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product development and launch
* Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that features are delivered on time and within budget
* Define and track key product metrics to measure success and make data-driven decisions
* Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the product
* Build and maintain solid relationships with customers and key stakeholders, gathering feedback and incorporating it into the product roadmap

### Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
* Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or similar role, with a track record of successful product launches, with minimum of 10+ years' experience in product management
* Experience in Healthcare domain and specifically Provider, Value Based Care and Ambulatory care is highly preferred
* Experience on Healthcare Electronic Medical Records, Medical Management, Claims and Eligibility, Telemedicine or Risk Adjudication is preferred
* Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
* Solid technical background, with a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies. Possess an in-depth understanding of lean product management best practices and frameworks
* Proven excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
* Familiarity with project management tools, such as JIRA or Trello
* Solid business acumen, with the ability to align product strategy with overall business goals
* Solid customer focus, with the ability to gather and understand customer needs
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
