Position Overview

The Senior Accounting Executive is responsible for bookkeeping and general accounting activities, working closely with business and finance stakeholders to ensure timely closure of the books of accounts. This role includes ensuring accurate accounting entries, processing monthly payroll, and preparing financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Process monthly payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees.
  • Prepare monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports, providing insights into company performance.
  • Filing of monthly GST returns, GST refund applications, annual GST returns.
  • Provide audit support services, ensuring the timely completion of audits.
  • Coordinate with the US finance team to prepare sales invoice workings and send invoices to clients on time.
  • Ensure timely receipt of accounts receivable, following up on overdue invoices.
  • Collaborate with admin and HR teams to maintain accurate records and accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, filing necessary returns such as PF, PT, ESI etc.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or relevant accounting qualification.
  • 2-4 years of experience in core accounting and related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical abilities, good communication skills, and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. Additional benefits include medical insurance, WFH/Wifi reimbursements, catered lunch and snacks, flexible work hours, and a dynamic work environment.
