Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Desk Specialist to join our team at Genpact. As an IT Service Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 1 IT Service Desk support through phone, chat, email, voicemail, and web (self-service)
  • Manage incidents, queries, and service requests, including escalation
  • Offer initial remote desktop support, user access management, password reset, Windows, and OS support
  • Review and maintain internal Service Desk Support/knowledge Base
  • Implement and maintain self-service/self-help resources and services
  • Report on known outages and service impacts
Qualifications
  • University degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Relevant work experience in IT Service Management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework
  • Beginning to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 7, 8, 10) administration and troubleshooting
  • Beginning to intermediate knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Office, and other productivity software installation and troubleshooting
  • Expertise in Active Directory administration, including domain/exchange account creation
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to prioritize incidents and service requests efficiently
  • Flexibility to work in non-traditional hours, including on-call support
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000, depending on location and experience.
