Job Description

This role is a developing management position, responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and compliance of the Data Center physical infrastructure, equipment, and employees. The successful candidate will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining organizational security procedures, fostering a collaborative culture across teams, and providing daily supervision and support to a team of dedicated Security Guards.

The Senior Team Lead, Facilities Security is a key position that requires a strong understanding of physical security systems, access control, surveillance technologies, and incident response procedures. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily operations for a team of Security Officers, including planning, scheduling, submitting timesheets, organizing, and directing execution of routine and special project work delegated by Security leadership.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and enforcement of security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect the data center, assets, and employees.
  • Coach and guide Security teams by modeling professional conduct and adhering to security policies and safety regulations at the assigned work site.
  • Guide team members on how to fulfill the special requirements for NTT GDC clients, and ensure requirements are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with security management, preferably in a data center or critical infrastructure environment.
  • Knowledge of physical security systems, access control, surveillance technologies, and incident response procedures.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
About the Role

This is a salaried position with an estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $110,000 based on industry standards and the level of experience required. Benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth and development.
