Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Contract Specialist to join our team at Olous. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing and executing contracts related to our projects.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful contribution to the success of our company. You will work closely with our project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that all contractual obligations are met, and that our projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Preparation: Prepare, review, and finalize contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to construction projects.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favorable terms and compliance with company policies.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks in contract terms and recommend measures to mitigate these risks.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all contract terms are adhered to and that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
  • Budget Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure that projects are completed within budget and according to the financial terms outlined in contracts.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts, agreements, and related documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-6 years of experience as a Contracts Engineer in the real estate or construction industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks in contract terms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in contract preparation and execution.
