About the Position:

We are seeking a talented and results-driven Python Automation and Deployment Engineer to join InSync Analytics Corp. and contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our automation frameworks and deployment processes specifically for data science workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement robust automation scripts using Python to streamline data processing, analysis, and reporting tasks for data science projects.
  • Work with data scientists to understand their needs and translate them into efficient automation solutions.
  • Convert existing VBA processes to Python for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability within the data science environment.
  • Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure automated, efficient, and reliable deployment of data science applications and services.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of automated workflows and deployment processes for optimal efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Python programming and automation scripting.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes) (a plus).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code tools (i.e., Terraform, CloudFormation) (a plus).
  • Proficient in version control systems (i.e., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Experience working with data in a programmatic environment (a plus).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Python programming.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial data industry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and data science workflows (a plus).
  • Understanding of security best practices in automation and deployment.
