**Job Opportunity:** Seeking a highly skilled Big Data Tester to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases with a focus on Fixed Income trading workflows.

This position involves more than just automation tools and is better suited for junior developers or data automation professionals. You will work with large datasets, understand stored procedures, and independently write data-driven automation logic.

The ideal candidate should have strong programming experience in Python or Java, as well as hands-on experience with SQL. Familiarity with data structures, large tables, and datasets is also necessary. Additionally, you should be comfortable with data manipulation, validation, and building comparison scripts.

Other key skills include excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently without close supervision. Experience with test management tools, such as X-Ray/JIRA, is also preferred.

  • Write custom data validation scripts based on provided regression test cases
  • Read, understand, and translate stored procedure logic into test automation
  • Compare datasets across environments and generate diffs
  • Collaborate with team members and follow structured automation practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases with a focus on Fixed Income trading workflows
  • Drive the creation of regression test suites for critical back-office applications
  • Collaborate with development, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC
  • Provide clear and concise reporting on QA progress and metrics to management
