Job Description:

Workday HR Functional Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Workday HR Functional Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our HRIS team, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the optimal function of all HCM related modules in Workday.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support and maintain the optimal function of all HCM related modules in Workday, including Core HCM, Benefits, Talent and Performance, Learning, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Payroll and Compensation.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align HCM processes, maintain data integrity, and ensure system functionality meets departmental needs.
  3. Configure the system to meet the evolving needs of the organization, ensuring changes are well-documented, tested, and communicated.
  4. Provide technical and functional support for supported departments, encouraging and empowering those teams to find solutions and create internal documentation/processes while providing guidance, support and knowledge transfer as needed.
  5. Serve as the main point of contact to intake incidents and requests from internal teams and third-party vendors for respective modules, evaluating requests and providing support, escalating as necessary.
  6. Play a key role in managing the scheduled Workday Releases, including reviewing new features, facilitating testing, documentation, configuration, and developing communication materials when necessary.
  7. Develop, maintain, and distribute custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR decision-making.
  8. Maintain security roles and permissions within Workday to safeguard sensitive HR data.
  9. Act as a change agent and advocate for Workday, focusing on the enhancement of manager and employee self-service capabilities to drive system adoption and promote strategic use, thereby improving overall efficiency and user experience.
  10. Proactively identify opportunities for efficiencies related to existing human resources information services and databases, and propose/implement creative solutions.
  11. Serve as a Named Support Contact and handle relevant inquiries, including maintenance of implementer accounts.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Workday Functional Analyst or similar role.

Proven experience in HRIS management and support, specifically with Workday.

Functional experience in Human Resources and related concepts, knowledge of HR principles and best practices, and familiarity with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Benefits, Talent and Performance, Learning, Absence, Time Tracking, Security, Reporting, Recruiting, Payroll and Compensation is desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  1. Understanding of HR operational processes and concepts, with the ability to apply this knowledge to optimize Workday configurations and enhance HR functions.
  2. In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM and related modules.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  5. Proficiency in Workday reporting tools and data analysis.
  6. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
