Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned attorney to join our organization as a Corporate Legal Counsel. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating, drafting, and reviewing various agreements including non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, SaaS/license agreements, third-party service provider agreements, and contracts with technology partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law and the ability to analyze complex legal issues related to statutory and regulatory risks and compliances. You will also serve as the liaison between external legal counsels and business teams on various legal assignments.

Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate Agreements: Negotiate and draft various agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, SaaS/license agreements, TSP agreements, and contracts with service providers, technology partners, fintech companies, payment aggregators, and NPCI.
  • Vet Policies: Review product/process notes, policies, terms and conditions related to digital banking products and services to ensure legal compliance.
  • Analyze Legal Issues: Analyze legal issues related to statutory and regulatory risks and compliances, providing advisories and recommendations to business teams.
  • Serve as Liaison: Serve as the liaison between external legal counsels and business teams on various legal assignments.
  • Monitor Regulations: Monitor, track, and update laws, rules, and regulations relevant to the bank's business and internal policies.
