Job Summary:

The Account Manager position will be responsible for managing direct sales to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction within the designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and deliver revenue growth for the assigned product portfolio within the genomics group.
  • Responsible for lead generation, progression, and closing of sales for high-end genomics platforms and related consumables.
  • Working closely with the Sales manager, application team, and distributors in nurturing, maturing, and closing of opportunities.
  • Responsible for technical discussions with customers, including one-on-one meetings, seminars, and pre-sales demonstrations, to convince them to buy assigned products/technologies.
  • Maintain relationships with existing users to develop them as positive reference sites and drive related consumable sales.
