About the Role :

This is a permanent position at Edgeverve where you will work as a Geospatial Developer. The role involves providing technical development solutions support, data management analytics and visualization support to our Integrated Energy customer and collaborating closely with various digital portfolio teams to offer specialist expertise and data management, analytics, visualization solutions across a wide range of business domains including Operations, Projects, Crisis, Renewables, Refining and Retail.

We are looking for a technical expert in geospatial data and analytics who can unlock and use data to inform better business decisions, leveraging tools like ArcGIS, Python, and JavaScript. The successful candidate will have experience with front-end technologies (React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS languages and frameworks), data import/export between ArcGIS and other applications, and data-related technologies (FME, Python, R, ElasticSearch, etc.).

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement high-performance UI applications for visualizing large amounts of geospatial data

- Utilize ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal, SDE, Server), ArcGIS Pro & ArcGIS Online for data management and analytics

- Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate the benefits of data management and analytics

- Stay up-to-date with the latest geospatial technologies and best practices

- Participate in the development of innovative solutions to improve process, workflow, best practice, and service delivery

Key Requirements :

- Master's degree in GIS, Geographic Science, Computer Science, Survey Engineering, or related field

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and experience with ArcGIS API for Python

- Experience with front-end technologies (React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS languages and frameworks)

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud hosting and services (Azure)

- Knowledge of web GIS development and REST API

- Experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and strong SQL skills

- Experience with containerization and orchestration
