About this role:

Our organization is seeking a seasoned legal professional to fill the position of Enterprise Lawyer.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the organisation's contractual arrangements with vendors including related enterprise documentation. They should be detail-oriented and thrive in an independent contributor environment, managing enterprise legal work including drafting, reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts and enterprise documentation. Familiarity with applicable regulatory outsourcing requirements, third-party risk governance and management frameworks and audit requirements will be an advantage. Strong drafting skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage legal documentation across the business, ensuring that agreements with counterparties are robust.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of vendor management processes.
  • Conduct research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
  • Procure appropriate templates and ensure compliance with international sanctions, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, and fraud.

Requirements:

  • Experience in contract law and commercial law with a focus on vendor and enterprise agreements are essential
  • Experience in intellectual property law is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong research, analytical and drafting skills
  • Business acumen
  • Qualifications: A qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience
