Role Designation - Sr. Software Engineer (Node JS)

Skill(s)- Node.js, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Express.js
Experience Range- More than 3 years

What is the work?

  • Develop and maintain back-end components of web applications using Node.js, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and Express.js.
  • Ensure optimal performance and user experience of web applications.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Implement security and data protection measures.
  • Manage and maintain databases.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices and technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Node.js developer.
  • Extensive knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Express.js, and Node.js.
  • Experience in building and deploying scalable web applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Integrate MongoDB/PostGreSQL databases into applications, utilizing Mongoose for schema design and data manipulation.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of code to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, implementing best practices and performance tuning techniques.
  • Good to be aware of deploy applications to various hosting platforms, such as Heroku, AWS, or Azure, ensuring smooth deployment processes and optimal performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
