Job Description:

As a seasoned reliability expert, you will spearhead the optimization of Amgen's infrastructure and platforms to ensure seamless system performance.

You will lead a team of engineers in delivering exceptional results while proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving cost optimization without compromising reliability.

Key responsibilities include establishing standardized operational processes, tools, and frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability. You will also champion the use of industry standards to optimize performance and increase operational efficiency.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8-10 years of experience
  • Expertise in performance tuning and cost optimization, including cloud management (AWS, Azure)
  • Deep knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet, and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Proficient in deploying and managing monitoring solutions in production, ensuring rapid incident response
