Job Title: Automation Engineer for SD-WAN Deployments

Position Overview:

  • Review Terraform codebases for multi-site WAN deployments.
  • Assess configuration templates, policies, automation workflows, and state management practices.
  • Provide recommendations and deliver a review report with findings.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong expertise in Terraform modules, variables, templates, and IaC workflows.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN components, including vManage, vSmart, and device templates.
  • Ability to evaluate and optimize state management strategies and locking mechanisms.
  • Experience integrating Terraform with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Practical experience with network automation best practices and SD-WAN deployment models.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication for remote collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in Infrastructure or Network Automation engineering roles.
  • 3+ years of proven hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN automation, templates, and policies.
  • Prior exposure to enterprise-scale multi-site WAN deployments is beneficial.
