Responsibilities

  • Guide partnership with stakeholders to determine user requirements within and across teams.
  • Lead teams to identify dependencies and develop design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
  • Optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Monitor systems for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and lead product development and scaling to customer requirements.
  • Apply best practices for meeting scaling needs and performance expectations and hold accountability for products that do not meet expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline and 10+ years technical engineering experience.
  • 6+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and operating reliable systems, including data analytics systems.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 8+ years technical engineering experience.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in data engineering, statistics, AI/ML.
  • Experience with or understanding of CI/CD pipelines & ADO, along with developing software hosted in Azure, AWS, or other similar Cloud platforms.
