Job Title: Director Sales - Automotive

At InterSources, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Automotive Sales Leadership to lead our sales efforts in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the Indian automotive sector, with existing relationships with key decision-makers. This role requires a proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on automotive engineering services within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strong customer relationships and credibility as a thought leader.
  • Engage with CXOs and business owners to influence Engineering R&D and I4.0 strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with global teams to develop proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • Work with account/sales teams to manage the pre-sales process with clients.
  • Have worked with product engineering or manufacturing engineering in a delivery capacity, ideally for the automotive industry.
  • Work with India/global-based practice teams on RFPs/events/go-to-market (GTM) on solutions.
  • Create business development plans for accounts and lead the identification of farming & mining opportunities.
  • Should have a strong track record of working closely with engineering services and partner ecosystem in shaping and driving growth in existing customers.

Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate in Engineering/Master of Science in Engineering OR MBA preferred.
  • Sales experience: Managing a large account(s) of size $10-$15M revenue engagements, account planning, customer success, solution selling.
  • Individual utilization of 30% across multiple accounts.
  • Compensation will be a mix of base and incentive results pay (to be paid out quarterly).
  • Significant proven large deal experience, including winning and delivery oversight.
  • Should be able to work with and manage multiple stakeholders – internal and external.
