Job Summary:

We are seeking a Planning specialist for our India Pressure Management Business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of materials to prevent factory operation delays or line stoppages.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Prepare production plans for quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily periods.
  • Develop reports needed for business processes in collaboration with other departments.
  • Release planned orders to production requirements.
  • Review scheduled sales orders and provide promise dates based on available to promise (ATP) output.
  • Coordinate and verify production routings and prepare work orders based on bill of materials (BOM).
  • Review shortages for work orders and expedite purchases to ensure timely delivery.
  • Release work orders to the shop floor as per schedule.
  • Expedite warehouse operations for timely delivery of products.
  • Review planning when sales order specifications, drawings, and BOMs are revised.
  • Maintain planning files for sales orders from entry to last product delivery.
  • Arrange subcontract work orders for items requiring powder coating, painting, machining, or fabrication.

You act decisively in constantly evolving situations, adjusting communication style to meet diverse partner needs. You prioritize deadlines, analyze multiple sources of information to define problems accurately, and observe situational and group dynamics.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering background with relevant planning and scheduling experience.
  • High level of integrity and trust.
  • Strong command of MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • Brief finance and costing knowledge is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO management systems and corporate safety and occupational health management is preferred.
  • You must be a self-driven and self-motivated leader.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems is an added advantage.
