BNY Mellon Markets is seeking a seasoned professional to join our Liquidity and Margin Services team as Vice President, Anti Money Laundering/Prevention/Know Your Client Manager. This key role will play a critical part in supporting our clients' trading, financing, and liquidity needs while ensuring the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for performing operational, analytical, and administrative functions to support the Liquidity and Margin Services team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Representing the business for KYC activities, driving rules-based KYC decision making, governing KYC services, and streamlining business engagement.
  • Coordinating new client onboarding, including initial client outreach, documenting gathering, and ensuring timely completion of KYC processes.
  • Validating Markets KYC assessments, confirming CRO ownership, and acting as an escalation point for KYC COE when clients are not responsive.
  • Offboarding clients, facilitating decision making, coordinating termination business approval, and ensuring client services and operations perform necessary steps.
  • Participating in KYC/AML trainings, maintaining accuracy of division heads and CRO names, and assisting in KYC/AML related audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we are seeking a professional with:

  • Bachelor's degree or postgraduate in finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in KYC, AML, client onboarding, and offboarding, with a strong background in client service.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to self-manage workload and goals independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of risk management and financial markets a plus.
