$70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description

This role contributes to the overall remit of the Communications team to inform and engage external audiences through effective communications. The incumbent will co-create and manage comms strategy, talking points, and content for various stakeholder groups, including general public, investors, press, customers, stakeholders within government and institutions.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant work experience in public relations, corporate communications, and/or journalism, with excellent writing skills in English and strong interpersonal skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-create, co-manage and co-develop comms strategy, talking points and content such as blogs, fact sheets, bylined articles, presentations and press releases for specific vertical market as well as other non-commercial departments
  • Manage public relations and communications agency to deliver the overall brand and communications strategy and activities
  • Create engaging content for the company's Intranet and coordinate the platform's overall editorial calendar with other team members
  • Create website content that increases the visibility/positive image and reputation of SES
  • Support audio-visual and graphics production
  • Produce communications measurement reports as required
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in public relations, corporate communications, and/or journalism

Skills:

  • Excellent writing skills in English for producing engaging content
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good organisational and priority-setting skills
  • Digital savvy with a strong understanding of best practices in traditional and digital communications
  • Ability to drive maximum effectiveness from external PR and communications agencies and contractors
